Fight Cellulite: Avoid Toxic Habits
A cleaner lifestyle will help in all your efforts to keep the largest organ of your body (your skin!) looking smooth and beautiful. Here are some toxic habits to avoid at all cost!
1. Avoid Processed Foods
They're often full of trans fats, additives, table salt, carcinogenic substances, or sweeteners, which can cause toxin overload in the body. Remember, toxins in the body can affect the dermis and contribute to cellulite formation.
2. Don't Just Drink Any Old Water
Drinking water may be one of the simplest cellulite treatments available. Water works as a natural cleanser and helps flush toxins right out of your body. Make sure you aren't adding in more toxins than you are flushing out by drinking poor quality water, such as tap water, which is often laden with chemicals, hormones, pesticides, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, and many other contaminants and known carcinogens.
Instead of water straight from the tap, drink fresh spring water whenever possible, or at least the highest quality water you can get, preferabley in glass - and make sure you have filters on your shower and faucets.
Don't try to hydrate with neon sports drinks, alcohol, sugary sodas, or commercial-brand fruit juices. Instead, try the world's first herbal soda, Jing Soda, for hydration and much more.
Jing Soda is made with all organic fruit and plant concentrates and infused with immune-supporting super herbs that nurture and replenish your life energy. Our soda contains 0% sugar and 0% artificial ingredients yet tastes 100% delicious! Made with herbs like Schizandra, which locks fluids into your cells. This not only increases hydration but also prevents moisture from leaving your body. The more moisture our cells can hold, the more youthful and beautiful our skin looks!
3. No Refined (Table) Salt
It is important to eliminate refined salt from your diet because it contains sodium chloride, which can contribute to fluid retention and poor circulation. This, too, leads to cellulite. Choose sea salt or himalayan salt, which are rich in minerals and trace elements that are, in small amounts, necessary for the body. Switch from processed salts to a natural sea salt with minerals that help with metabolism and hydration.
4. Throw Away Chemical-laden Beauty Products
Your skin is your largest eliminative organ - you should be able to eat whatever you put on it. It sounds obvious, but always be sure to read the labels of anything you put on your skin. Even products you trust and may have been using for years can change their ingredients at any time, and they do not have to tell you.
Our bodies develop fat cells to protect us from toxins. Therefore, using unnatural lotions that are loaded with petrochemicals, pesticides, and heavy metals to target cellulite is a temporary fix that will eventually result in more fat cells!
Instead, use organic and pure soaps, lotions, and facial cleansers and serums to make your skin radiate natural beauty. Longevity Warehouse is proud to offer a variety of beauty products that will support the health of your skin and your whole body!
5. Clean Up Your Cleaning Supplies
Many popular cleaning supplies are dangerously toxic. Not only are they horrible for the environment, they are usually loaded with endocrine disruptors. There is no end to the tricks endocrine disruptors can play on our bodies: increasing production of certain hormones while decreasing others, mimicking certain hormones, transforming one hormone into another, disrupting hormone signaling, aging cells prematurely, competing with essential nutrients, binding to hormones, accumulating in organs that produce hormones. Remember, balancing your hormones is an essential step toward reducing cellulite. Switch to natural home cleaners, or make your own!
If you are planning on making your own cleaners, purchase some of these basic ingredients and you can clean anything - safely:
